About Us

Jagacha Aikatan, established in 1989, imparts excellent performing arts education, unleashing potential with nature and nurture. Eminent professionals guide, collaborate, and intervene to provide our students with the best. The organisation supports Artists and promotes indian culture at local and global levels.

Jagacha Aikatan’s journey began in Dipak Chakraborty’s drawing room, where he nurtured his passion for music and shared it with his community. With a dream to empower students through music, Dipak laid the foundation for what would become a world-renowned institute. Over 35 years, Jagacha Aikatan has grown, evolving into a vibrant community that fosters artistic growth and cultural exploration. Today, we nurture students of all ages, guiding them to discover their inner light and equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to become accomplished artists, dancers, musicians, poets, and individuals with a voice.

Today, our students are thriving, the community is growing, and we are exploring more collaborations, performances, productions, research, innovation, and propagating synergy by designing effective learning spaces.

Through the years, collaboration and support from the Ministry of Culture & Education, Government of India; UNESCO, and other institutions have strengthened the organisation to fuel Jagacha Aikatan’s vision to nurture individuals’ full potential through Performing Arts. Preserving and promoting layers of Indian Art & Culture, strengthening Artists at multiple levels.
